    Muhammad Ali strikes a boxing pose at the Muhammad Ali Center in Louisville, KY before the grand opening of the new center. Ali took an advance tour of the new center that bears his name, the legendary boxer reviewing exhibits at his hometown museum detailing his life's journey and achievements.

    Sad to see the legend in such state. I wish he would be healthy and working as a commentator for HBO or SHO, that would be something Interesting to see if he will be in Berlin on Dec 17th to watch his daughter fight.

      boxing 2005, don't know if you know this, but the latest rumor that ali's health was further deteriorting is bogus. not true! still battling parkinson's, but he didn't recently get get much worse. it was just a rumor!

        Exactly,

        the point of this thread was to show he looks relativly healthy and in good spirits.

        That's in contrast to the reports he was on his death bed.

          Spirit is all he has left unfortunately, I know about the rumors and such but even then it's upsetting to see the legend in a state like this.

                boxing2005, don't worry man. here's a couple of quotes from his latest book regarding his illness:

                "i even went through a period where i wouldn't do television interviews, because i didn't want people feeling sorry for me"

                "i am as much at peace as i have ever been, and i don't feel sorry for myself, so i don't want anyone else to feel sorry for me. what ever the future holds, i will come out on top."
