I have to say...Martinez cannot fight going backwards, and JC is a big big kid...he can beat Martinez EASILY if he fought the right fight...EASILY..We saw what happened with darren barker...when sergio is going backwards, he's getting tagged with his hands down, and not throwing anypunches

Well against Barker it was pretty hard to land because Barker was extremely defensive, he wasn't throwing any punches at all. Now against Chavez Jr, Sergio Martinez would move around and make Chavez Jr chase him like he did against Pavlik. Also Martinez is a lot faster than Rubio and would be able to hit him when Jr opens up. Martinez is technically a lot better than Rubio and would be able to throw fast combinations and then move out of the ropes like he did against Pavlik.
