Last night Rigondeaux witness the Nonito fight, nobody noticed that, he did not even get a camera flash, Larry Merchant did not mention him to Nonito as a possible match, Rigo in a interview later said, no HBO nor Nonito wanted a piece of him.

No matter how you look in a win, NSB will put your down. IMO Nonito fought a very good fight. WV2 aint ******. He wasnt there for the taking. He was trying to out point the guy. He didnt throw enough thou, he was well aware of the left hook. Props to both guy. They did their best. Haters around here will always hate, no matter what.

i think this is the last weight class for donaire. i also expected a k.o. but vasquez was barely opening up plus donaire's hand was messed up so its hard to say... i never thought he had a chance against gamboa

Was I the only one who thought Donaire looked peculiarly soft at that weight? His body type almost reminded me of the way Marquez looked against Floyd in their fight. I don't know if "soft" is the right word, but I definately don't think Nonito needs to be moving up in weight any time soon. At 122lbs. he just didn't look 'right' to me.

He looked no different than his weigh in vs Montiel. He is not a super cut guy.

thats the way it is they dont even talk about rigondeaux because he cuban if it was a mexican boxer or puerto rican they would talk about them even if they aint that good thats favoritism mexicans sell out in texas and los angeles and las vegas and puerto ricans in new york but cuban fighters likegamboa and rigondeaux they dont get a chance to fight in miami in front of their fans

Nonito won but he definitely has cause for concern at this weight. He got hands put on him a ton in the 2nd half of that fight, I gave WV2 at least 3 of the last 6 rounds. His power is not showing up as well as many thought at this weight class either...I saw Vasquez take quite a few flush rights and left hooks from Nonito and he was still there. It was a good win sure for Nonito but I think he is going to be more vulnerable at this weight. I suggest he stays away from 126 for a while, especially a Gamboa or a Juanma.

I have to be honest and say that I had not seen Donaire fight since he beat Vic a few years ago and I was not impressed. The only way he could generate power was by throwing hooks from left field and uppercuts that started around his knee cap. However, he did hurt his hand but even with that his problems look much deeper than just a busted hand. And as much as I dislike him he would be an easy win for Gamboa.

Nop... but if a fighter says "i'm going to knock you out"....i'm expecting him to come to fight, not all defense. :*******:
