As of right now I think Donaire loses to Gamboa. But I still need to see more of Donaire against 122 and 126 lbers to make a good assessment.

        Gamboa KILLS that boy.

The speed and power advantages that Nonito is used to having, he'll be second best in both those categories. As well as being faster and hitting harder, Gamboa is also smarter, more skilled and more well rounded. He'd crush him.

Nonito just moved up.Let him develop more into that weight.Remember he's a flyweight moving up in weight. So...we'll have to wait a few more fights. And pay attention to Conte's developing muscle formula.Last time I checked i don't seen any Flyweights moving up to fight Gamboa!

I would love to see this fight. There's no reason for why it shouldn't happen now. Both guys are in their prime, so why waste time letting it marinate and risk turning it into another Gamboa-Juanma debacle? I think the argument of Gamboa being too big is kinda weak since nobody is arguing against him moving up two weight classes for the proposed fight with Rios. Besides, Donaire has been talking big lately and wants to go up as high as 130, so why shouldn't he take on Gamboa at 126? I prefer Rios-Gamboa but if that fight can't be made, then Donaire-Gomboa is the next best thing.

Gamboa didn't look that great against Ponce. And his chin ain't that great. I think it would be a hard fight for both men but Gamboa would be favored because he would be the bigger man. Nonito can hang though in my opinion. Just a matter of time.

I voted for Gamboa because I'm a big fan, but he can be pretty open at times, and Donaire is a very accurate and hard hitting counter puncher. I hope this fight happens, but if Gamboa goes after Rios it likely won't.
