He looks undefined at 122, maybe his talent alone will carry him up higher but his body is better suited to 118.

I actually like this attitude. At 122 there are three great fights in front of him He should not overlook, Nishioka or Rigondeaux. and Arce should be his next fight as that will be a very easy win for him.
And with Gamboa and Lopez possibly moving north of 126 after their next fights I see no point in moving to 126 too quickly.

With knowing my skill level and power is beyond any one at 122, and also having height and reach advantage as well as speed, I too would be comfortable fighting guys like 5'3" Narvaez, just TKO'd by a brawler WV2, and the defenseless blood-pouring brawler Jorge Arce, that are picked out for me to fight. It's a smart business move in Nonitos part. I would do the same no doubt, Top Rank is the best company in terms of protecting their more popular and promising fighters with their great matchnaking.

Staying at SBantum is a good idea not only with the current titlists but the Bantums that could move up Moreno and Mares with Lopez and Gamboa going up in weigh he'd be looking at younger fighters at Feather who wouldn't be big cash fights and dangerous
So test the waters at 22 for now and then see where things lead

Sounds like Gamboa vs Rios is being made for April. But I'm sure Gamboa would go back to 126 for the right money. I didn't sound like he wanted to fight at 135, it just sounded like he wants Rios. I would like to see Gamboa at 130.

it takes time to develop muscles, i think it's just right for him to to stay at 122 division for a while. loosing a lot of weight during training is not good for conditioning before a fight, i guess he just realized that... expect a stronger and faster nonito tonight because of not much dehydration before the fight....
