Floyd's had his 3 years of fighting less than upper echelon. He's the one talking ****, so he needs to step it up, now.
Hatton has done that for 38 fights.

      hmm

Floyd is the one talking ****. Hatton is not. Floyd needs to step it up and back up his words or else not speak them.

Granted Hatton's biggest risk was fighting an aging Tszyu without leaving his hometown, but, why should we believe Floyd has had any real intention of fighting him in the pastor future? Floyd, by his own words and body language in interviews, gives himself up. He basically admits he asks for more money than the other guy, and if he doesn't get it, he says they duck him. What kinda bull**** is that? He doesn't deserve a higher split than Judah and Hatton and Winky just because he says so.

Floyd's early career was awesome, but he has been stagnating for 3 years now. Hatton's win over Tszyu changes things. Hatton is THE man whether Floyd likes it or not, and they have to fight each other. And if Floyd demands more than 50% of the purse and after that claims Hatton is ducking him, Floyd is a *****.

Yeah, but like he said. You can duck a fighter by pricing yourself out or you can duck a fighter by not being willing to fight.

        Well obviously it's true, SLW
Because even after that when he recently challenged Hatton. Hatton's people said their boy isn't ready yet and asked for another year.
So let's do the math here.
If Hatton's people say he wasn't ready for Mayweather a few months ago, and Floyd says that the fight could have happened over a year ago...what's not to believe?

          hmm

It's hard to believe Floyd based on his current behavior. Either way, Hatton just won the title and it's no big deal for him to fight Maussa right now. It's acceptable. After that, Hatton and Floyd need to fight each other. If Floyd prices himself out because he's too arrogant to take a 50-50 split, he's ducking Hatton. It goes for both fighters. Floyd has talked of fighting HUGE names for the last year and hasn't delivered. I'm expecting a delivery soon. Neither Hatton or Floyd's career would be complete without fighting each other.

I expect Floyd will chose Judah, mostly because he believes he can beat the guy, not because of belts or any other consdieration. Floyd's first thoughts will be all about beating the other guy, who ever it may be, as opposed to building a legacy on truly taking the toughest opponents avaialble.

Although May gave Gatti a beating, he could actually learn something from the guy .... fight the toughest opponent avaiable and take a chance at making a legacy for yourself.

let me get this right, some people here think pbf belives he can beat zab judah but doent think he can beat hatton? really guys come on. Why should pbf go to england to fight hatton for less money, its just like hatton coming to us to fight pbf for less money. they have to come to some compromise. but if hattons people say we are not ready, chances are this mean pbf will stop hatton.

                  hmm

It's very doubtful that Floyd would stop Hatton. Hatton and Zab have different styles and many feel Hatton's style is more of a threat. See the Castillo fights. Anyway, they'd make MORE money in the UK, and there's no problem witht he fight being there as Hatton is the champ anyway. They can have neutral refs and judges though. But Floyd doesn't sell well. There were about 6,000 ppl at his last fight at the Rose Garden whereas Roy sold 12,500 there. Floyd is not a draw.

The only problem I see with Hatton being stopped is because of his face. He has a tendency to swell which is bad news when you fighting a sharp, offensive fighter like Floyd.
