Did Pacquiao damage Cotto enough to make him PRE-DAMAGED GOODS against Floyd?

Let's face it Mayweather/Cotto should have happened years ago. Since that time Pacquiao dominated and then destroyed him over 12 rounds in a fight where Cotto basically ran. Was the damage of 3 long years ago enough to make Cotto meet the requirements of what Floyd Mayweather describes as a "leftover"?

Cotto will actually fight at 154 this time unlike the weight drained body he was forced to fight in via Pacquiao fight.

It's a great fight for Floyd, but only at 154.

You people would complain if he was fighting anyone else regardless.

Good fight, weight Cotto is comfortable at, good trainer, regained his confidence after Margarito win (the loss was always on his shoulders).

The fact is, Mayweather discredited Pacquiao's win over Cotto due to being "beaten with a cast" by Margarito.

According to Floyd's logic, we should now add to Cotto's list being beaten from pillar to post by Pacquiao. Using Floyd's own standard, a victory over Cotto is not worthy of credit.

Of course, I think Floyd's opinion on most things is pure ****. Cotto is a good fighter, but his best days are behind him and so are Floyd's- too bad this fight didn't happen in 2008. Floyd retired for the first time instead.

Margarito damaged him, Pacquiao just made it worse. Floyd is obviously a hypocrite for what he said, but this is still a good fight imo.
