they didnt offer him 50 mil they said they could not guaratee 50 million to fight pac that hes guarantee had to come from some one else

did anyone catch the 50mil guarantee part? He keeps talking about the 55/45 which everyone is hanging onto but it sounds like they offered that along with Floyd taking 50mil and doing the fight with just Top Rank. Maybe thats why he turned it down if thats the case

This guy is a double talking swindler. How can going from 50/50 to 45/55 will generate an extra 10% for the winner? No matter how you swing it the winner only gets 5% more...$200mil will get the winner $10mil more not $20mil..I see why Manny doesn't know what the hell going on with his money..

Michael Koncz, the adviser to WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao, was bothered by some of the earlier comments that appeared on BoxingScene.com from Floyd Mayweather Jr., the WBC's champion at 147. After Mayweather officially announced that he was fighting WBA 154-pound champion Miguel Cotto at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on May 5th, the unbeaten boxer took aim at Pacquiao. Mayweather believes Pacquiao was never serious about fighting him.

55 - 45 = 10; 200 * 0.10 = 20

PBF is the smartest man in and out of boxing. He made Ricky Hatton and JMM look like legit WWs, Shane a prime fighter, Manny a coward and now Cotto a real threat. PBF is the greatest promoter/boxer ever. He was never gonna fight Manny, just made it seem like he was, it was always going to be someone who's past his prime. Cotto looked like crap against Manny and Margacheato. Slow ass mofo. PBF made Manny looked like a chump.

Manny works for the cherry orchards but Money owns the land. PBF is the smartest man in boxing.

Koncz is the only one of the three that sat and met with Floyd on multiple occasions regarding this fight. Regardless if you feel that Koncz is the right man to negotiate or not, his story is first hand information.

Not dis*****g that, but he has also contradicted himself in 2 different interviews today alone - in the same interviews, and at one point in the same sentence. Its pretty tough for me to believe what he's saying.

I do, however, like the idea of 55-45 split going to the winner.

This is just the typical spin that is going to occur between both camps. You can expect Mayweather fans to believe him and Pacquiao fans to believe Konz. Whatever. Its just he said-he said. This reminds me of 2010 when Bob Arum tried to negotiate a fight with Ross Greenburg, someone that wasn't authorized whatsoever to discuss a fight with Mayweather-Pacquiao. Everyone knows its Al Haymon and Richard Schaefer.

Konz is in no position to negotiate a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight. Everyone knows it goes through Arum and duBoef, just like the discussions with Timothy Bradley are.

At the end of the day it doesn't really matter because the fight didn't happen, and probably won't happen anytime soon.
