What rant? If you read the article then you would know how to comprehend the meaning of what Koncz is saying. He beat the crap out of Cotto in the first fight at a catch weight and now he wants Cotto to fight at 147, knowing that Cotto would be at a handicap. Why even entertain the rematch? He beat Cotto, can't he do it again? I don't hold Floyd blameless because he gave Team Pac the ammunition by not saying anything earlier or revealing what was really going on all this time until he had to do some time but Arum has been lying, along with Pac and Koncz the whole time. why is that so hard to see for you guys? Boxing fans have been lied to and manipulated and all everyone who loves Pac and Floyd can do is blame the other guy for the fight not happening. It takes two to tango.

At the end of the day this fight could have happened 2 years ago but Pac didn't want to take some ****** random blood tests that mostly EVERY other fighter would have taken with exception to Pac. For people to say this is all Floyd's fault are the biggest bias fan boys on the planet. The only thing Floyd is at fault for is asking for Pac to give some blood, which should not have been a problem for an elite fighter of Pac's caliber in the first place, retiring then not speaking up when Arum was using his name in the media while he was gone. All of these ego maniacs and money leeches are to blame. Pac fans just seem a lil more content with having Floyd be the one who is considered doing the ducking then really taking a look at what has been going on in a whole.

Just makes people look even dumber and that's how Arum and company continue to get rich. Arum said he doesn't give a damn whether this fight happens and that he would prefer Floyd stayed retired a lil longer in 08 before he comes back to fight Pac. Howmore blatant could he be? Floyd is a dumb ass for not pressing the issue and confronting the media about everything for the past couple of years but now wants all the credit for pushing the issue for the fight.

i get the whole extra drug testing, i get it, today in sports every where there are too many peds...

but be honest, two years ago manny was fighter of the decade, he was the man while floyd was on vacations so the man doesnt have to bend for anybody.

even marvin hagler said pacman shouldnt be running around doing what floyd says, even hagler said who is floyd to run shiiiiiiiiiiit.

you have to realize, floyd priced himself out, has used the whole manny fights my damaged leftovers and now floyd is fighting pacs leftovers who is actually truly damaged from wars beatings and margacheatos plaster..

i still consider cotto at 154 a respectable fight for floyd, but lets not respect the fact that floyd pac is the fight that needs to be made and until then i aint buying any fights....

dont know to beleive koncz so easily but if true floyd is a tool of the highest order,but then i do beleive arum himself stopped it and didnt want the fight,especially not yet when he messed the dates and venues up.

floyd wants to make more money and wins,arum wants to milk pacman out of more money for more wins of soft non legendary fights.

floyd and pac got to run out of opponents soon,between them what do they have?,cotto,alverez,khan,bradley,peterson,marquez fight.

even some of those are vs non welters and green fighters/fighters with styles who just cant beat floyd or pac.

hbo guy was right,end of next year is the sell by date of this fight,we will all definely not give a shizer about this fight if they dont make it soon.

both will be too old,too past it,too greedy with lackluster taken of their p4p ness and will forever be known as that guy that didnt prove hes the best by fighting pac or by fighting mayweather.

I like the Pacquiao-Bradley vs Marquez-Peterson fights because it is relevant. These guys are pretty much the same size, and it's putting the younger fighters in the spotlight. These are winnable fights for both Bradley and Peterson. I mean, Marquez and Pacquiao are at the tail end of their careers. I know they're looking for pay days, but this is what the sport needs.

I commend Top Rank if they do this tournament.

exactly. now if every boxing fan took this stance, floyd, and pac will be fighting infront of 0 people with 0 ppv with 0$. maybe then that will get through to their thick skulls that we aint putting up with 2nd best.

agreed....honestly if break down the floyd ortiz fight floyd already has started to look bad, despite that round 3. floyd was wiffing and missing punches, his footwork was off badly, he was going into his shell defense preventively and not as a reflex...ortiz won two rounds and had good moments. floyd is excellent at rolling punches and seeming to not be hit although he was. in fact right before the headbutt ortiz landed a right hook as floyd was throwing an uppercut and buckled floyd sending him flying into the ropes while landing punches.....

rust is a loss of timing, bad footwork and decreased coordination and agility is a loss of youth....

floyd is such a gifted athlete he can overcome quite a bit, but my point is floyd is trying to be busy and fight and not go on vacation because he knows he is getting old..

Hey man, lets be real right now. Pac was fighter of the decade and so forth but he got the P4P title because Floyd retired. He never beat him fir the spot. On top of that. Roach said on video that they would agree to any kind of tests Mayweather wants and once they do, Floyd would not want to fight and it was the exact opposite. Cotto is a lil past it but at 154, he is a better fight then Pac going to JW looking at guys like Lamont Peterson. Bradley is decent because he fought at WW and to me he won't be easy to dispatch. But lets be all the way real..... Pac ain't even trying to fight in a division where he is a champion. Dude don't even want Marquez again who is two divisions below him because he is too tough for Pac and doesn't want Cotto higher than 147 because he is afraid that he might get hurt because of what Margarito did to him on the ropes? Pac beat Cotto already and bad at that. Pac in my honest opinion doesn't deserve to be called "fighter of the decade". Dude was a successful marketing plan.

Pac fought once at 150, not even 154, and didn't want to do it again. They made that pretty clear after the Margarito fight. Call it "scared" and "protected" if you want, it's called a guy knowing his f***ing limits.

I can't believe you went on a rant about a guy not wanting to move up to an 8th division again. He didn't play games with Cotto it seems, Cotto was told 147, Cotto didn't want to do it, so the fight wasn't made. I don't see how that makes anyone "scared" or "protected."

Floyd is full of it.... But is that new???? Always crying on TV, fighting with reporters, disrespecting his opponents, and admittingly beating on women... This dude is a tool and a manic depressive and once the lights go down its going to be very sad because he has wrapped himself in Money May and I'm not sure that he'll be able to survive or find Floyd once the lights go down and nobody cares anymore... Notice how Floyd was very vocal and active tweeting challenging PAC calling him a punk then when team PAC responds notice how Floyd somehow disappear as if his computer doesn't work anymore.
