my honest take? I was gob smacked floyd took the fight, I have no issue with the cw, yes I make snide posts but thats to just embarrass a few people who suddenly have changed their views on cws

I am defending reloaded against you because you did the exact same thing he did, only you were pro CW and now you are not. you talk about everything and everyone except the 2 most important points I continually ask you about:

How did you feel about 2lbs when Manny did it?
why don't you bring up that Canelo and his team-same as cotto and his team- said the 2lbs isn't an issue.

I already told you about Canelo. It's not just the 2lbs it's because of what has been said and what has happened. Canelo couldn't make a CW against Hatton and barely made 152 when he had to come down to 150. So that is a topic that SHOULD be discussed not put aside as you are hoping will be done. We will need to check out the fight PLUS his post-fight interviews to determine how much the CW affected him because prior to signing, I have many links stating he just can't make 152 CW comfortably. I have the links to prove that so don't twist things and say that it's me saying this UNLIKE RELOADED who, with no facts, keeps on bringing up false statements (lies)!!!

Now, if Canelo comes in against Floyd and shows that he can go the full 3 minutes for 12 rounds or at least look like the CW didn't affect him, I will say so BUT until then the discussion is worthy of staying open. For the CW on Cotto, there was nothing wrong with people wanting a title fight at 147 and not 145. I said so in many posts that I wished that fight happened at 147 because I knew that Manny would still be too fast for Cotto and when looking at the fight, there was no appearance of Cotto being drained. Cotto said before the fight that he was strong and after "The reason I lost was that Manny was too quick that I just couldn't see his punches". So considering that Manny was coming up from 130 to 147 in such a short period of time made those 2lb CW bearable ..... BUT if Manny had a title at 147 then I would be questioning it just like I questioned the point of fighting OLD Mosley and other times I criticized Manny.

I said the same about the Margarito fight. The critique on the CW had more to do with the title than the CW because Margarito was a career WW that had 3lbs bonus for the fight.

Now if you think I sidestepped the question I will make it more clear to you. I don't mind CWs if it can get two fighters in the ring but I hope that that CW will not affect one of the fighters so that it is the determining factor. I already see issues with Canelo in this fight. Him coming in at 152 is not going to make it any easier but the truth will come out in 2 months from now.
