i'd give him alot of credit because i think he is gonna get stopped. mosley old but canelo is a glorified brawler not alot of pure boxing skill. his power aint gonna matter shane still has that chin.styles make fights.

Gets some credit, but it won't happen.

People expect too much from Canelo, like knocking out Lovemore N'Dou when prime versions of Miguel Cotto, Kermit Cintron, who if anything were known for their power, couldn't knock him out. Junior Witter, Kell Brook, Sharmba Mitchell, none of these guys could knock him out but all of a sudden Saul Alvarez had to knock him out to get credit. He has more than 10 losses and nobody has been able to knock him out, he lost all by decision.

Same with Mosley; prime Forrest, prime Winky, Mayweather, prime De La Hoya, Pacquiao, prime Cotto, prime Margarito, Fernando Vargas...none of these were able to knock him out, not even Floyd and Pac who caught him at the tail of his career. Canelo is not gonna do it either, and doesn't have to do it.

This is kid is held to ridiculously high standards for no reason, cause every one turns around and calls him green or untested or average anyways, but then he has to knock guys out who are proven to be unknockoutable.

Mosley has never been ko'd and has only been down 3X in over 55 fights against good opponents.

A ton of credit, Mayweather couldn't do it and neither could Pac.

He may be old and past his prime but the dude is still really hard to stop and can still punch.

Completely agree. Stopping Shane Mosley is an accomplishment, I don't care how shot he is.

Yea he would deseve a bit of crdit, the ammount depends on what I saw from Mosley on fight night. Even if he still looked terrible (which is likely) Mosley still knows how to not get whooped on bad, so it would take some good praise worthy work from Canelo to accomplish that.
