As previously reported on BoxingScene.com, Andre Berto (28-1, 22KOs) suffered a left arm injury on Monday while training at the Ten Goose Gym in Van Nuys, California. Berto was preparing for his scheduled welterweight rematch with fellow former champion Victor Ortiz(29-3-2, 22KOs). The fight, scheduled for February 11 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, was canceled by Monday night. Berto ruptured his left bicep during a sparring session, and surgery will be required.

thats pretty nasty and dangerous for a fighter to have those kind of injuries i was looking forward to this rematch as well well atleast they can hopefully fix andre bertos arm and postpone the fight and we can see it later on this year hopefully when he is better, ah well we still have this weekends fights and also maidana - alexander coming up
