All the Khan fans wee jumping on him with statements like it is his biggest payday ever ,he is a fool and other moron garbage.
By holding out he got $650,000 as mandatory with no rematch clause and is holding out again and can pick up $1.5 Million that is $2.15 for 2 fights which is $1.55 Million MORE than Khan originaly offered him. May this be a lesson to the idiots that slate Khan's opponents as being greedy when they are low balled.
Peterson is in the driving seat and I won't be surprised by the time negotiating is done that he ends up getting $1.8 Million for a remach.
He got into a mandatory position, got more money, got the fight in his hometown, got a gift decision and now is being offered above n beyond what he's actually worth.
Yet people are still saying he shouldn't take it....LOL

THE LOWBALLING WAS THE DERISORY REMATCH CLAUSE but you only focus on the initial offer not taking into account the nasty rematch clause stipulation.Clearly Peterson has done the right thing.

The irony is Team Khan's tight fisted low balling tactics and penchant for lining up canned fights came full circle and bit them on the arse.
