    My dream May 5th card

    Main event: Mayweather vs Cotto

Co-Main event: Canelo vs Mosley at Staples Center

Undercard: Ortiz vs Berto II and Jesse Vargas vs Breidis Prescott

How awesome would that be? I know Mosley and Cotto are both shot, with Mosley being ridiculously shot, but Cotto is the best option available for Floyd. Mosley would also still be a huge step up for Canelo and he can still knock him out. He would be fighting someone almost as stiff as he is, only it won't be because of age.

Vargas vs Prescott would be a fun opener. I think he's a step up from Lopez, and would have a very good shot at the upset. A win for Vargas, no matter how he looks would be good because Prescott has made pretty much everyone look bad.

    @ Cotto.

remove him and replace him with anyone else and it's an alright card.

also Ortiz vs Berto II should be the main co-main event

Showtime bought the Ortiz-Berto II fight, I don't know what it would take to put that on an HBO PPV.

Do you honestly believe that Canelo, Guerrero, or any other options available would give Floyd a better fight than Cotto would? He may be shot, but he's still a lot more mobile than Canelo at this point and far more experienced. I seriously think Mosley would have a decent shot against Canelo at this point. He needs more time.

Plus a win against Cotto at Junior Middleweight is far superior to a catch weight win at 145, so he'd have a 1up on Pac, even if he doesn't look as good.
