The fight scene is being quickly arranged for the first night of boxing in Moscow in 2012. A small show – in comparison with previous and future activities, pre-planned by powerful Russian promoter/manager Vladimir Hryunov – will be arranged at Krylia Sovetov sports arena, a hotbed of old-school Russian and Soviet boxing, on February 8. This time there will be no complete stars or stellar contenders, like Alexander Povetkin or Denis Lebedev, but several well-known local professionals will test their skills against world-class opponents in what should be a delight for boxing fans in Russia and neighboring countries.
