Somebody needs to ban this motha****a!!

If Carl Froch says the sky is red, then is red, he earn the right to fight whomever the **** he wants, period.

Carl Froch is one of the last throw back fighter, that fights everybody, so Sr. you can go **** yourself!!

Andrade at home next followed by either Bute or the winner of Kessler / Stieglitz would be ideal in my book, but i'll not moan whatever he decides

Bute/Kessler are in a different league to Cleverley.
lol true Froch is still looking at the toughest fights when he could have a break and nobody would blame him

I actually think it would be a very good fight. that being said, Froch has worked as hard if not harder than anybody else to get to the position he is in, so I have no problem whatsoever with him staying at SMW and going for bigger fights against Kessler or Bute. Nothing wrong with him having a tune up fight either.

Froch wouldn't be a big LHW either, he easily makes 168

the best option is to stay at 168 no doubt

Indeed. As long as he makes 168 with no problems he should stay there. He is a marquee name in the division and carries a lot of hard earnt respect. Cant see him beating Ward on any day though. Bute and Kessler possibly, but Ward is on a different level to everyone else right now.

There isn't any reason this fight can't happen in 18 months.

Boring is bs though, deep down Froch knows he's a SMW. He makes SMW unbelievably comfortably.

He been quoted as walking around 4 pounds above 168. He doesn't want to step up to LHW - not yet he obviously feels he be giving away way too much weight when he can fight SMW's.

Cleverly walks around at 14 stone plus apparently, that's a lot come fight night and Froch knows it.

It would obviously be a hec of a fight and one the UK would really enjoy, boring is an excuse and disrespectful, no need for that. Froch is doing everything Calzaghe did to him that he said was disrespectful and is being a hypocrite.

Just be honest, I don't want to move upto LHW yet, I have unfinished business with guys around my weight, but maybe in the future - don't say it's boring and nobody wants to see it because that's bs.

I agree I'd like to see Froch settle what he has to at SMW and Cleverly get some names on his record then let them get it on in 18 months.
