    Moving UP

In light of Donaire moving up. Can anyone name good fighters that got ktfo when moving up to face opponents that they were favorites? Roy Jones was a middleweight that got ktfo by Tarver after moving up to hw and back to lhw.

Duran lost to Hearns when moving up, but I'm not sure he was a favorite.

Moorer was a real good 175 pounder before he moved up to heavy but he was there a while before he got taken out by Foreman, pretty sure Moorer was the favorite in that fight though.

Tito against B-Hop but once again he was at middle for a bit before seeing B-Hop and I would not exactly call that getting KTFO but he did stop him and Tito was the favorite.

You are talking straight moving up to be the favorite and getting knocked out though right not hanging out a while then getting knocked out.

That is a tough set of circumstances because usually when guys go up they fight a couple fights before really seeing someone that could lay them out and if they fought a guy with those capabilities they likely were not a favorite. Interesting question though.

Probably the most famous was when Wilfredo Gomez (34-0, 34KOs 14 defences of the WBC 122 lb title), came up to 126lbs to challenge WBC champion Salvador Sanchez. Gomez was a heavy favorite, Sanchez koed him in 8 mostly one sided rounds
