I like it and I think they should allow judges to use it. Sometimes depending where the judges are sitting a punch that does not connect looks as if it did...especially when the boxer at the intended receiving end snaps his head back fast to avoid getting hit. It would clear up the perception of missed punches be scored as hits and make for more accurate scoring.

you know hbo will use this in some way to cheerlead for their guys. rubio landed 500 punches but they only had a 2000 power quotient while chavez jr landed 30 punches with a 3000 power quotient therefore he wins. no robbery here folks. **** **** **** i'm jim lampley signing off.

Don't know what to say except that the fight game is changing just like all sports do. Before you know it, we will have boxing robots who will replace human beings (REAL STEEL which was a great movie by the way). But try it out and see how it goes

I don't see how this is important.
How about new technology for judges to judge fights better, you know, pick the correct winner. Or involving instant replay more in fights.
I don't know, something that would actually help the sport.
This is just a little cookie for the fans and fighters can distracted about the things the sport really needs.
