    Anyone else worry for Vasquez?

Weight problems aside, I just get a bad feeling about the fight period and I don't like this match-up at all.
Just rewatched the Arce fight and Vasquez will not want his father to throw in the towel again..
except this is against the hard hitting Donaire.. I just can't see Nonito losing this and hope no one gets badly hurt.

It's a tough fight. Some people think Donaire is a hype-job. I don't. "The Filipino Flash" is being built up as another cash-cow, but that doesn't mean he's not for real. Wilfredo is not a pushover, but he was chosen for a reason: because they think Nonito can handle him. WV2 is going to leave it all in the ring. There's no way he's going to want to lose two in a row. Yes, that might get him hurt.

Vazquez is getting knocked the **** out. Sad since he just pretty much started his career.

Yeah...this fight definitely has the potential for some highlight reel stuff for Donaire. Wilfredo already keeps his lands low, and reaches on shot I think he is going to get timed with flush shots badly if he starts too aggresively.....maybe he should try to sit back and wait as long as possible to throw down because Donaire has shown to be reluctant in initiating action if a guy goes 100% defense. he has to keep his hands UP as much possible early but I dont think he will. so he will be a target at all times

Wilfredo is pretty tough and I'm sure will be hungry to win, but this could be mayweather/gatti like. donaire has had some sick combinations and great ko's when he sees that he can dominate and do whatever he wants...even though his sometimes caused nonito to make some fights last longer than they should...he is probably looking to make a statement in this one after the fight with navarez

I don't think he will get badly hurt he is still young and fresh even though the Arce fight was tough it is not like he has a whole career of fights like that.

It certainly may not be pretty for Vazquez though.

Jr is so vanilla to me. I said it the first time I saw him fight and the fight with Arce just exposed him as inexperienced and vulnerable. Please dont jump down my throat PR. He's got a big name and a small chance at beating Donaire. He just doesnt really have it. Prospect level skills will get him pained against Donaire for sure. It would be nice to see him make it interesting but probably gets outted early in this fight.

I think this is a legit fight. Its a tough fight for Vazquez no doubt about it, but he still is a good fighter. IMO people put too much emphasis on the Arce loss. He showed flaws in that fight, but he showed a ton of heart and that he could dish out and take punishment. I thought Vazquez was winning that fight. He took to much punishment in the first 3 rounds, but was able to adjust and start taking control of the fight. Fatigue caught up with him and Arce was able to catch a 2nd wind and then they threw in the towel. It was a great fight and he was in it all the way and there is no shame in that. His in experience cost him the fight IMO. Hopefully that fight was a learning experience and will make him better as a boxer. Its hard to say.
I have few doubt about Donaire's skills and power but I think he is overrated. Maybe I'm wrong. But Donaire has had a tremendous size advantage against everyone he has fought. He will finally be in the ring with someone that is equal in size and will be punching harder then anyone he has been in the ring with. On that note it could be argued that Donaire is the biggest puncher Vazquez has faced too. Its hard for me to call because I have my doubts about both fighters. I understand why people think Nonito will blow threw Jr because he has looked so impressive before.
