will Pac and Marquez KO the Castillo Floyd fought at 135??

Anyone who thinks on this forum Castillo had the style, speed, power to beat Manny doesn't know shyt about boxing.

Manny is an horrible match up for Castillo.

Styles make fights, for some reasons Castillo gave hell to Mayweather once or twice, Marquez to Manny three times.

I don't see Castillo being smart, landing traps, feinting, moving and dodging punches like JMM did, he would go face first and end up koed.

The idea that there's only one way to beat Pacquiao is silly. Pacquiao-Castillo is 50-50 IMO. Castillo was smart, set traps and while he didn't move and dodge, threw a beautiful jab and was effective on the outside while being downright deadly in close quarters.

This fight, just like any fantasy fight is anyone's guess.

I doubt anyone would believe Tarver would beat Jones in a fantasy fight.

Same with Douglas over Tyson and various other bouts.

i would favor pac vs castillo but i don't think it would be an easy fight. Like the TS alludes to.

Marquez is NOT at his best at 135.
It would be a competitive fight tho and i could see Marquez winning.

LLS if you really think Castillo fought face first your are trippin. Didn't have great defense but a face first brawler the man was not. Feinting is one of things he did great in the 1st fight vs PBF and one the reasons it was such a tough fight.

Yes.. Styles makes fights.. You cant win a slugfest with Pac.. Castillo's chin was cracked by Chico, and that was just on LW. Pac's chin has been proven and tested against legitimate WW's like Marg, Cotto, and Mosley.. Fighters who actually carries Welter power in their punches..

I think you're confusing Castillo with Mayorga. Castillo isn't some face first brawler, he was quite refined and very intelligent.

Castillo is overrated??? He's probably one of the most underrated of his time, especially at 135.

David Diaz??? Juan Diaz??? Michael Katsidis???

Jose Luis Castillo and Stevie Johnston would have been tough fights for Pac at 135 (2008 version of Manny against Diaz) and for Marquez (2008-2010 version of Marquez at 135).

You also have to remember that Pac didn't even want to fight Joan Guzman, who was seen as one of the top LW in 2007-2008 until his layoffs and weight issues.

I'd favor them to beat Castillo if I had to put money down, but it's not an easy task. People need to remember Castillo in the early 2000's, he was the best LW of his era.
