Manny moving up in weight after a 140 fight with Hatton to fight whos known to be a bigger stronger fighter in cotto...the demand was not so far fetched as some idiots seem to make it out to be. Cotto had nooo problem with it..if he did then he would nt had fought. Its business and boxing not rocket science. If Cotto had no issue with it, neither should anyone else. He wasnt forced to do so and its not like he came down from 160 to 145.
He actually did, he doesn't walk around at 145-147lbs..he makes weight just like the other 90% of boxers...

and he had no issue with it because it was probably a career high payday, but from Pacquiao's camp, that's cowardice..if you can't compete at that weight class with out stipulations, stay out of it, kind of like his Jr MW reign, which I'm sure you agree was a complete JOKE!..

Cotto asked Margarito for 150 and settled for 153lbs, it was ****** as well..but Pacquiao is doing it over and over and over..to only benefit him as opposed to it being fair for both..

i can see your point...and first off i am a big Cotto fan as well. with that said...If Cotto had no issue and it wouldnt affect him and it gave the fans a good fight then why not. IMO a lb here and a lb their isnt that big of a deal. But as a natural 147-154 lber lie Cotto Fighting a guy who two fights ago weighed 130-135 and just fought @ 140...its not that big of a demand. Plus, Cotto was the bigger stronger of the two...and a good PAYday i agree.

Nice, we get Pacquiao-Bradley versus Marquez-Peterson, those are pretty damn good fights.

The only interesting fights I read in this article were Pacquiao vs Bradley and Marquez vs Peterson. I'm not interested in Mayweather-Cotto, Pacquiao-Cotto II, Pacquiao-Marquez IV.

I rather see Mayweather vs either one of Martinez, Alvarez, Ortiz-Berto II winner, or even Maidana-Alexander winner. Just please Floyd, not Guerrero or Cotto.

                      i agree totally.

floyd vs sergio or cotto are both good fights...canelo is too green, lost 3/6 rounds to alfonso gomez

pac vs bradley is a good match up, good fireworks...

ortiz vs floyd 2 would do good due to the hype from the first fight...
