Donaire just moved up to a higher weight and hasn't proved anything else, not wanting Rig at the moment was pretty understandable and if those two guys meet I don't think Rig can beat Don. Rig is a good fighter but hasn't really fought a speedy guy with KO power, Donaire doesn't look intimidating but will make you pay if you make a mistake and he proved that. If you are going to pick a Cuban fighter, it might as well be YG since he's the bigger fish and there is nothing wrong with that. I would like see Rig/Mares though...I think it is a better match up since Mares is a very aggressive fighter.

As "fast" and powerful Donaire maybe, he is in no way comparable to Gamboa. Donaire has only ever tested that "power" against undersized opponents, and his style doesn't match up with Yuri's.

Hate to hit you with reality but it certainly can happen. If you have followed boxing for more than 1 month you would know that upsets and shockers happen all the time, and that is with underdogs as well as favorites. Next time I charge you for the information.
