    All-Native Boxing(spoiler warnings)

Went to a fight card last night January 28,2012.And what a thriller it was.For a first time local promotion in this area of the world.Boxing is something we been missing in Wisconsin. It was held at the Menominee resort and casino.Featured four fights for the evening. This is what you missed from what my memories,ho can remember, hopefully.

Bout 1J Denny in his pro debut looked absolutely sharp and stunning against a fighter with 11 pro fights.Scheduled for 4 rounds.DJ Denny put a beating on David Laque.Untill what think I remember was a 3rd round TKO.
This kid DJ Denny probably really impressed me for a first fight. And probably stole the whole show with fight of the night. The kid had an excellent jab poppin out there. And did not get to excited right away.Stayed focused and throwing nice straight punches in bunches.

Bout 2:Was Bernard Webster vs Carlos Reza. Was not even sure which guy was which. But someone got knocked out real quick.

Bout 3:This was JJ Corn's farewell fight.which was very emotional if you only knew all the circumstances.Scheduled for 6 rounds. Was only fight of the night that went to the judges.Boyd Davis Clearly won a unanimous decision here over JJ Corn. But as we all know there are some judges out there that need glasses or something. It ended up being a somewhat boring Majority decision with one judge calling a draw and the other 2 judges seen it like it was like 60-54.Guess you could have given Corn a round.

Bout 4:"Ladies and Gentlemen"Welcome to the Main Event.
Here they pitted two fighters I actually have heard of somewhere before.
Marcus Oliveira vs Antwun Echols was scheduled for 8 rounds.I was supprised to see Echols on this card. For I remember seeing many of his fights before. But he must be getting old for the boxing game.It seemed he had no legs under him.he just looked sloppy on the feet.Whenever Oliveira landed good on him he would try crying to the ref.If my memory is right Oliveira finished Echols in the fourth round by TKO.Oliveira also looked very good.He had like a 22-0-1 with 19ko record coming into this one.And he has a minor title.Think it was like the NABF or something. So this is my thing I've seen many others get a shot at world title status with much less of a record. So to any World champ out there in this guys weight class I dare you to give this guy a shot that he deserves.

Well that concludes my first boxing report ever.Hope you guys and gals enjoyed hearing about my night at the fights.
