Jose Cuervo Salon, Polanco, Mexico - Robinson Castellanos (14-9, 9KOs) retained his WBC silver featherweight title with a hard-fought twelve round unanimous decision over Orlando Rizo (14-3, 9KOs). The fight was a war in the early rounds and Castellanos had to battle his way back in the second half to take the contest over. Rizo rallied well in the twelfth round and had the champion stung from several hard hooks. The final scores were 117-111 twice and 117-112.
