Definitely a legit argument to make. He's got a better run going right now then either Mayweather or Pacquiao, but the loss to Floyd does come into play here.

that loss means he doesnt have a better run than either. and even if u think he won the pac fight, it was a pretty close fight on paper.

That's the only fight he definitively lost in a LONG time though, and he has a lot of impressive wins alongside that loss. Not to mention the circumstances with the weight, which didn't mean a ton towards the result but makes the win look worse than it should for Floyd.

P4P, Marquez might look better right now than either Floyd or Manny. I don't rank him above either, but I'm not going to argue that much with someone who does.

Yeah, Nacho said on tv after being questioned of Heredia and said "Come and test Jmm tomorrow if you wish"... "as long as you test the other fighter as well".

                Nothing happened of course.

And yes Pac shouldn´t be #1 p4p, he sits sixth or worse.

Ps.- And the loss to Mayweather doesn´t mean much because that was an exhibition match, nothing more, nothing less. Mayweather probably gave the fight to Márquez because he is fan of him and wanted him to get a payday.

if we're talking about should and should nots then no he should not because Manny himself should have never been ranked number 1.

P4P isn't a World title. You don't get the #1 spot just because you beat the #1 guy. And, You don't have to beat the #1 guy, to get the #1 spot.

You say and dream on it, but, Pacman won that fight, officially, and is still the #1PFP
