They even confidently turned down other offers in the process because on various occasions both Arce and his manager publicly "confirmed" that the rematch was going to happen. All seemed to be ready for negociations to begin when Team Vazquez' and promoter Tuto Zabala jr were shocked with the reality that Arce was already planning to do different behind their backs. Arce's manager didn't even have the courtesy to inform promoter Zabala of their change in plans, deciding to just ignor their calls instead. Not too classy considering that Vazquez gave Arce a great career opportunity. A simple phone call would've been sufficient. Oh well, at least Arce knows what to expect if by chance Vazquez pulls off the upset. At least it's more sincerity than what Team Arce gave and deserve.
Vazquez is fighting a higher profile opponent in Donaire for the same vacant title, so I don't see any reason why he should be *****ing now, except for the fact that he's still butthurt from the spanking he received at the hands of his daddy Arce.

Did anyone in this thread actually watch the wv2-arce fight? 'cause it was hella good, people forget Vazquez made Arce hit hte kanvas in the mid rounds. I think I had it even going into the last round, I'd watch 'em fight again in a heartbeat. It wasn't a beating.

The kid is just upset 'cause he didn't get what he wanted, he'll get over it. I hope they rematch regardless of the nonito clash.

Arce would fight both klits if he had the chance, he wanted to fight johny gonzalez at 126. Coward is not the right word but Jr is right to be upset. He wanted that rematch real bad and he believed Arce was up for it.

exactly, if wvjr had stuck to the gameplan and didnt get too eager to stop arce early he wouldve broken him down and wouldve stopped him late

this win was definitely a fluke, however...fighting someone like donaire without properly building himself up is just ******

wvjr lacks experience even though he's physically gifted and that will be his downfall

Junior was killing Arce during the whole fight. Then he got carried away
in the later rounds and decided to go toe-toe and got tagged. He'll take
            Arce apart next time.

Nonsense. The kid has great balance and throws shots equally well with both hands--reminds me of Wilfred Benitez. He'll beat Donnaire.
