    Math

    Floyd pays out 25 mil.

Floyd gets 25 mil from himself plus 20 mil revenue.

So 45 mil in minus the 25 mil equals 20 mil profit.

I'm just glad to hear Pac got paid more than 6 mil... Too bad he seems to be running it poorly..or it's being stolen more like it.

I don't see why they can't just contractually agree on 60-40...Hell, even a 50-50 split in guaranteed money and Floyd getting the lions share of the PPV earnings (as in more than Pac) and/or have the lawsuit dropped. Having to split 50-50 and still get sued for more millions seems a little much imo especially considering Floyd is the favorite and the best p4p..which pretty much entitles him to a bigger share, even if it's not by much. Arum is a lawyer and I'm sure he could, if he wanted, find a way to appease Floyd and keep Manny happy/not short change him...which he will anyway but hopefully not by as much. The bigger the share Pac gets, the bigger share Arum gets which is why I believe so many people are upset with Arum, since we know he's not doing it for the sake of Pac.

On a side note, I believe the Mayweather earnings are a little off compared to most athletes. I'm almost positive they don't count earnings that are not sponsor/purse (contract) related. Which makes sense since apparently, his net worth around 100 mil if I recall. Pac's was like 20 something last time it was reported...which makes me think..wtf happens to Pac's money?

Agreed......a pinoy told me he would rather believe Arum than Mayweather any day. He actually believed in the outdoor stadium and a cut taking 6 months to heal.....

I hope Pac does get paid his full $22M that he suppose to be guaranteed in his fights!!! I have to say Arum's explanation about the 6M looks legit to me but then again Arum could be lying today!

I was trying to figure that out myself. What happened there?

as I said it was announced on tv his guarantee was 22m so he got at least, he earned around 27m from the looks of it which is really good

also lol at the idiots saying floyd got 61m vs mosley, the made around half or even less than half of that. his guarantee was like 20-22m in that fight as well, at most 25m he wouldnt have made like 35m from ppv rev. he made around 30m in total at the most

remember there is hbo, golden boy and floyds manager to pay
Not that I care, but this "earnings" gimmick is purely a childish PR battle being waged by Mayweather. No one knows how much Mayweather really earns, but it can be safely assumed that it's a lot less than is sdvertised. We have to remember that the huge sums being quoted have come only from him. He is guaranteed whatever he wants to announce since he guarantees himself. Completely urellable info.

First of all... Who said that Pacroid is the P4P king, according to my knowledge he lost his last fight.. lol.. Nuthuggers... Arum is such a crook its not even funny.. last i knew 2 plus 2 is 4.. either my math is off or im just not good at adding.. becuz the numbers he stated in the article did not add up...I hope this fight happens.. so everyone can see that Pacroid is just a Fradu... Great with guys who are scrappers, not great defenders and guys who just throw down...Cotto, Clottey, Margarcheato, Mosley which one of them have great defense...? PRetty much all love to scrap...But when it comes to counter punching and defensive fighters, he folds under pressure.. and the best defensive counter puncher in the gaem for the past decade in Money May, HANDS DOWN!

Bob Arum has little incentive to do the right thing here, he's old, he has a lot of money, and he's holding all the cards. He has correctly conjectured that Pacquiao's fans are mindless enough for him to get away just enough BS to turn a profit. No matter how bad Arum ends up looking it isn't relevant, he isn't the attraction, he's merely the one behind the curtains pulling the strings. And who ever cares about the puppeteer anyway, the technical guys, the guys that make things run behind the scenes go largely unnoticed?

So when all is said and done Arum has anonymity to slither back under, while Manny has to absorb the full brunt of Arum's business decisions alone. Good thing Manny's fans don't utlilize much logic or he'd be out in the cold.

Bob's counter offer is laughable, just like Manny’s contract, it's hilarious....
