The guy who put that poster up probably read one of those generic, dime-a-dozen "Pacquiao/Mayweather" headlines in everyday newspapers/magazines and assumed it was already signed, sealed, and delivered.
When I had my buddy over for the Cotto/Margarito rematch, HBO was showing its line-up of HBO's Best of Boxing 2011 to close out the year, and when they were showing the programming schedule, one of the days they were going to replay Floyd/Ortiz and Pac/JMM 3. But given that the two faces that were beside the announcements were Floyd and Pacquiao, my buddy jumped off of the couch and went, "They're gonna fight?! It's official?! Holy ****!"
And I was like, "No, they're replaying both of their fights on one day."
Huge letdown for him.
