Why is Marquez so dismissive withouut knowing the offer.

Please note that Marquez keeps mentioning that he is a "free agent". is should settle any question as to whether Pacquiao's next opponent, who may be similiarly free, must become a Top Rank fighter. Like Marquez' last fight, as well as Mosley's, they very likely signed for just the one fight. Mayweather likely does the same each time with Golden Balls.

Marquez, after having been contracted to promoters for 18 years, is enjoying the feeling that just saying he's a free agent brings. But, he needs to stay relevant. Why is he so negative about a potential sell-out in advance, without knowing what the offer is.

Reminds me of the aftermath of their first fight, when the return was proposed, he turned down $750,000, (perhaps as much as he'd made in his whole career). He and Beristain spent nearly a year of negativity, haggling with no success, and had to travel to Indonesia to lose to Chris John for $32,500.

Bob Arum will not give you anymore guarantees Marquez he already got what he wanted Pac vs Marquez 3 made you sign off with Golden Boy to make it happen. You thought you won the fight and Bob Arum pimped you and said hey Marquez this was just a one night stand it's just business.

I thought Bob was trying to make Mayweather-Pacquiao for November??? Both Manny and Floyd have gone back on what they said (Manny said he'd take less money than Floyd just to get the fight, no true. And Floyd said everything was set and ready besides the drug testing, not true). But, the one thing that STILL remains is that Bob Arum has never intended to make Mayweather-Pacquiao, given that even if Floyd said 50-50 is cool, it has to be on May 26th or June 9th, according to Pac and Arum both.

It's a f**king mess and I hate it.

ya gotta love Marquez , but:

He has NOT whipped Pac

He has not knocked Pac down

He has not Knocked Pac OUT

He has Lost all three fights with Pac

They were close but close ain't enough

He lost the last fight with Pac 8 to 4

He is a great champion

He was cheated badly by JR in their match if you can call it that

HE was in much greater shape for Pac than for Jr

He should bury the hatchet and go kick Bradley or Petersons @$$

Pac should fight JR if he can find his ba!!$ in NOV

I got no problem with a fourth fight, What I don't want is a fourth bogus decision. What a disgrace the Manny and Bob show has become. I don't care who is next, it won't be mayweather or anyone else not contractually obligated to Top rank.
