    Mayweather vs. Hatton, Judah, Margarito

For Mayweather's next fight, He should either take on Hatton, Judah, or Margarito.

If He takes on any other fighter, there is simply NO excuse. He has beaten the Gatti's, the Corley's, the Ndou's of the world. It's time for him to step up and take on a real contender.

Mayweatha will beat Antonio Margarito. Funny how Mayweatha literally doesn't talk bout tis guy cuz Margarito is SHYT! He's got no markebility value, he has no legacy value fo Floyd, and talentwise, he's mediocre or below. Floyd don't need tis guy right now when fightas like Hatton, Judah and Cotto waits fo Floyd.

Hatton would be an awesome fight fo Floyd and would be also beneficial fo his legacy. Moneywise, tis fight would be ta biggest fo Floyd cuz errrthing at stake hurrr. One being ta top spot at junior welterweight, two, ta belts Hatton will put on ta line. (IBF and WBA: Carlos has no chance). Ta fact that it's a high possibility tis will happen in Madison Squre Garden benefits me too cuz Ima be able to watch it Live. LOL!

Zab Judah is ta best fight fo Floyd in ma opinion. There will be big money fo tis fight. Judah being #1 at welterweight holdin all ta legitimate belts and Floyd bein ta #1 P4P fighta! Definitely ta biggest fight out thurrr posible right now. HADNSDOWN!

I agree he's had a deserving streak of easy opponents already he needs to get back to work against either the fighters u mentioned or Cotto.

As much as I don't really rate Margarito, Floyd NEEDS to fight one of the top guys.

I was going to put Winky there, but Winky would absolutely pummel Floyd into submission for 12 rounds.

Cotto won't take the fight that fight is TOTALLY out of the picture.

That Hatton fight is the one that most intrigues me. Hatton is very underated to posters here, He will beat Floyd imo.

Unless he wins the actual welterweight championship, Margarito might as well not exist. No one wants to get in there with a grinder for street cred amongst hardcore boxing fans. Now if he were the recognized undisputed welterweight champion, believe me, there would not be a shortage of opportunities. I still think PBF is @ his best between 35-40, but if he's gonna move up, and I were matching him, I would put him in matches of skill, not size and strength. That's why he's willing to fight Winky Wright, Zab Judah, and Sharmbe Mitchell. They are bigger, but they are looking to beat him with skill, not looking to use their face for defense, to put 10-15 pound weight advantages on him to smother their way to victory.

Now would Floyd put up with that if Margarito were THE champ, and a p4p guy that would help cement is legacy? Sure, and he would beat Margarito. Make no mistake about it, if they were the same size, Floyd stops him in 6 or less, the ONLY reason it's looked @ as a close fight is the gap in size. The only time PBF was ever challenged was due to a gap in size, that closed slightly between the first and second fights, and we all noticed the difference.

Margarito must due the things to help himself, beginning with Santos, and stopping by the nearest garbage can to drop that WBO strap.

Hatton will make it a close fight, but he will not beat Floyd. It seems that ta people use Floyd's recent performane to decide ta outcome if he fights Hatton. Keep in mind, Floyd is quite possibly ta most talented and smartest figta right now. He changes his style.

He defeated Chico Corrales by using his jabs on ta belly to outpoint Chico and throwin ta thunderous left hook to ta head from time to time to hurt him. It was an awesome display of boxing in ma opinion.

He beat Gatti by punishing him. He did mo of BEATING AND LETTING his hands go gainst Gatti. That must be ta most aggressive I've seen of Floyd.

And then we see him gainst Mitchell tonight. Floyd tonight dint seem so fluidly fast on his feet compared to what he did gainst Henry Bruseles. It seemed that Floyd wanted to KO Mitchell as quickly as possible. He dint really distance himself too much and he rarely used his jab on tis fight and instead threw many power punches.

Basically, Floyd can change his style and we can't judge a Hatton vs Mayweatha basin it on his last 2 fights. Floyd will fight differently when he fights Hatton and I'm sho he gonna be prepared fo Hatton. Floyd by UD if he chooses too, Floyd by KO if he choose to. BASICALLY!

It just shows how little respect Floyd has for Mithcell's power.

that too, but that aint a CONCRETE INDICATION. did Mayweatha respect Bruseles power cuz he circled round him and boxed him and made him look like Vitali Kleeschkoe strugglin on a GED question? Nope.

                    Good points Manny_P.

I think your wrong about Floyd though. Floyd has shown a reluctance to fight on the inside. When Fighter's try to fight him on the inside he either
                    A) Stays in the pocket and outboxes them OR
                    B) Boxes from the outside and punishes them over 12 rounds.

In every single Hatton fight, His opponent said they will box him, but they never do.

Your underestimating Hatton greatly. He is a very confident, intelligent fighter with a GREAT team. I cannot say enough good things about this guys team, He always comes out with awesome plans.

If you look at the Tszyu fight, Hatton just pummeled him and nullified the right hand. The Tackie fight, Hatton just clearly outboxed him and the Oliviera fight Hatton just went to war with Oliviera and outhustled/brawled Oliviera.

Hatton isn't the lumbering face first bloke that most posters try to paint him to be on here. Check out how he pauses and pivots right before the moment of impact. He actually comes in at a slight angle this way and keeps his opponent off balance. That and the speed with which he closes the distance between him and his opponent is troublesome to say the least.

Also, check out how he throws a little jab on his way out. This keeps his opponent off balance so that he can get out and reset.

In turn, Floyd would be FORCED to just stick and move like He did with the 2nd fight with Castillo. Floyd is a smart fighter like you said, and this is his only option to fight Hatton.

Hatton throws many liver shots, and He would definetly slow down Floyd's speed.
