maybe....floyd remainas as a guy who does'nt like pressure......one huge problem is finding the right guy to do the job.... a healthy margo would exposed floyd's vulnerabilty imo....too bad marcos maidana or rios aint as big, or else they'd trouble floyd to death....IMO

I dont think so. Floyd's problem wasnt pressure as much as it was size & mentality. He's still on the smaller side even though he's bigger but he's got a much more aggressive mentality now that he only had at times in the past. JLC & Cotto wouldve bothered the Hatton-Oscar version of Floyd but not this one. Same thing with a prime Margarito.

This version of Floyd wouldnt be bothered by that. Im not even saying that he would go right at them or fight them toe to toe. He just wouldnt retreat or be on his bike as much. He would be more firm with his decisions and wouldnt be bullied like he couldve been in the past.

I had a lil bit of fear of that coming into the Mosley fight. I thought it was possible that "lil" Floyd would show up and that Mosley might could push him around. I thought he would look awesome if the aggressive version came in but I thought it was only a 30% chance of that.

Luckily that guy showed up, he hasnt looked back since, and he seems as though he doesnt plan on looking back ever again. Again, that still doesnt mean that he wont ever move or box again, it just means that he wont ever be on his bike again IMO.

I remember after he fought N'Dou I was hoping he would fight JLC again. Even though he had the 2 wins, I felt that he would beat him so bad the 3rd time that it would erase all doubt since Floyd had grown and was fighting more aggressive. I felt like that all the way through 140. Then he moved up to WW again too early and started back all over with the small guy stuff.

It is legit in alot of ways. The WW's were too big & strong at that time for him but he's much more comfortable at the weight and has a different mindset now. Pac wasnt like that. Pac had the power and that aggressive mentality from the start. Thats why it was no problem for him to go right to those big guys but Floyd has a natural defensive mindset anyways. Im just glad he got out of it at the right stage and now is mixing his O & D together perfectly

Am I the only person who see the same old Cotto?

Sure, He was motivated and in probably the best condition in his life to beat Marg, but that doesn't change the fact he's still the same fighter he's always been. He can still be hit and he can still be beat.

I personally think Cotto/May wouldn't be a bad fight, might even have it's moments but i do see Cotto getting picked apart on the way to a late TKO.

he needs steward who has seen it all and would help him make the proper adjustments during the fight. margarito was beating him towards the end of the fight, steward would have told him exactly what to do to counter that, but the doctors save in

No, Castillo was a bad bad man with one of the greatest fights ever to grace the sport left in the tank.

Cotto is an old, short man with very little left in the tank.

A prime 47 Cotto is close to that. Cottos jab would have to be used alot in this fight. And watch out for those counters.
