What happened to Farenas?

I've always supported Mikey in his previous fight and I think he wins this onw easy but I hope Abe proves me wrong.

I hope this is a mistake and BoxingScene just got their filipinos mixed up lol.

I met Farenas in a casino elevator after one of his fights last year. Cool guy, was happy for him when I heard about this fight. Ill be disappointed if Bernabe takes his place.

Perfect step up for Mikey. He'll walk through Concepcion in a calm collected fashion.

While Juanma-Concepcion was short, it provide plenty of fireworks.

Garcia gets to fight a guy with good power.

In Garcia's last fight, he demolished a guy that schooled Concepcion. They're both power punchers, with Garcia being the more disciplined and polished of the two. It should be an entertaining fight.

This. I was looking forward to Mikey fighting Farenas.

I hope that Abe would at least make it a respectable fight. Going by his recent fights, the chances of that are slim.

I'm sure he still has the power, but he's been out of it mentally. Like others have pointed out, if he couldn't bring himself to throw punches against a much much lesser opponent, having Mikey in front of him isn't going to help.

But once again, What happened to Farenas?
