Mares coudn't win. Nonito's balls are non-existant. There goes Mares' entire offense.

But seriously, Mares hasn't earned this fight. He's one of the many Hispanics that Oscar has forced to the top through Golden Boy Promotions.

Donaire would beat the life out of Mares. So I say go for it :P

I'll give him the second Agbeko fight. Other than that, his fights have been pathetic. He hasn't cleaned out anything.

Well he also beat Darchinyan, the same guy who Donaire beat some time ago, and he actually defeated Yonnhy Perez but the judges only gave him a crappy draw.

I am not a Nonito fan really but I wouldn't mind seeing him smack Mares around. Mares is a good fighter but he is one dirty fighting son of a *****. I have never seen a fighter hit more people in the balls than he does. He needs one good knockout to set him straight with that bs.

Donaire is really starting to rub me the wrong way now. This is the **** that happens when you are associated with Top Rank. "If my promoters can get together and make the fight then do it" , that wasn't the answer I wanted to hear.
Bob ALWAYS got some agenda, and now Donaire is caught up in the web. Vasquez, then Arce, then move up. He SHOULD have stayed at 118 this year and unified the titles but NO! he had to move up and **** all that up.

The Darchinyan fight is generally considered a robbery. He deserved a rematch as much as Agbeko. Perez has seen better days.

I'm not going to deny Mares is good. He won some of my respect when he beat Agbeko fair and square, but to say he has cleaned out 118 is a huge overstatement. Winning one title and defending it once is hardly cleaning.

I want Mares v Moreno first, the winner gets Donaire.

moreno, rigondeaux, and nishioka. those should be the only real guys he should be considering after he takes care of vazquez.

who cares? Nonito shut your trap about opponents you may never face.

he should have left Arum when he had the chance!
