No the $40 mill was total. And, that MannyP refused it shows that he normally makes much more and totally refutes the ongoing speculations that he is broke and being swindled by Arum, who takes most of his money. If that were the case he would insist on that $40 mill.

Mayweather here, in my opinion is just trying to stir up trouble, a mare's nest, between Pacquiao and Arum. But contrary to the common opinon, I believe that MannyP is no fool, and knows what he's doing. He just doesn't attend to the fine details, as he's too busy and employs others to do those things. Like any big businessman.

I have a pretty strong basis for my overall point which you continue to duck.

When has a fighter had to sign with GBP in order to get a fight with Floyd?

When was Floyd's last non-GBP promoted fight?

The only way he signs with GBP is if he wants it, they need Cotto so Cotto can get whatever he wants on that sort of thing. He may want some security incase he loses to Floyd but maybe he thinks he will win (strange for a boxer I know) thus could really cash in after.

Who knows but Cotto is in a good place to negotiate from so they can not overly force him into anything~

Depending on how many days in jail Floyd actually does (sentenced to 90 days), I just can't see him fighting the most important fight of his career after that. I can't imagine that he would have his mind on fighting at all after spending time in lockdown. I would think he would be thinking more about taking a luxiourious vacation instead of coming out straight away and dealing with promo's and training. I just don't see it happening this year, at all. Especially if Arum is asking him to make a commitment now for November, when Floyd has no idea how he's gonna feel after he completes his sentence.

Besides, Arum makes it sound like the $$$ issues are just going to majically change right now for a November fight. No matter what either side tries to tell us, they're no where near ready to agree on all the issues.

Having GBP promote it doesn't mean you have to sign with them.

Shane Mosley wasn't under contract with GBP.

Like I said, for all intents and purposes, he was GBP fighter. My point still stands not matter how much you nitpick at the insignificant details.

No, fighting under a banner doesn't make you their fighter, regardless of what fantasy world you want to create. The bottom line is, you have no evidence of anyone having to sign with GBP to get a fight with Floyd.

And you have yet to refute my overall point.

                      Thanks though.
