That doesn't mean Cotto would have to sign with them. Stop being dumb. Shane Mosley wasn't a GBP fighter when he fought Mayweather. So you don't have to sign with them in order to make the fight, whether they promote it or not. Cotto can continue being a free agent. Your denseness is childlike.

I'd say it's not enough time if Floyd does the full sentence, but at least from my perspective I think he may only do half, which will be more than enough time to promote and train for the fight.

No need for promotion...

But nobody knows what will happen when Floyd is put into a controlled environment. He's been free to do what ever and nobody knows how he will react.

Let's be honest here, if this fight gets finalized we could asume the next fights for both will be fixed to not kill the mega fight and all the money to be made from it. This is why boxing is not the same anymore. This is a business with tons of money to be had. People think they are better then boxing itself. Boxing has turned into- more about the money then the love and passion for it, But I guess thats how times are for all mainstream sports nowadays.
