When did Miguel Cotto say he had to sign with GBP in order to make the fight happen?

So funny to read people list Mosley as GBP fighter when, at the time he fought Floyd, his contract with them had already expired.

If Cotto wants to fight Floyd why would he sign with anyone? He has a promotional vehicle. He can just do what Floyd does and dip into his own pocket for expenses and keep more of the PPV upside. Just pay GBP a fee to promote the same way Floyd does.

Floyd vs Cotto would do > 1.5 million imho, and possibly as high as 1.7-1.8. Cotto could make himself upwards of $20 million by fighting Mayweather as a free agent.

I don't understand your reasoning. Why will Cotto sign with Golden Boy? It makes no sense from his prospective. The Pacquiao rematch will likely not happen because apparently he does not want to be under contractual obligations to anyone.

November isn't happening. Bob's cashing out on Pacquiao but it ain't against Mayweather. Bradley will beat Pacquiao or there will be another Holyfield/Lewis situation in June that will call for an immediate rematch. What a joke.

I really think there is something to what Ellerbe said not too long ago. Bob doesn't want to co-promote any fight with Pacquiao, as he doesn't want Pacquiao to see the books from another promoter. If I know Bob, he has probably been ripping off Pacquaio. As he has done to so many of his fighters.
