  • Team Pacroid should quit ducking this fight-40 million is a great offer-PAC DIDN'T EVEN COUNTER OFFER THOUGH-

It seems Pac is the one who don't want the fight-Floyd want the fight but Pac turned down a career high payday to fight Floyd and make history-guy is pathetic-

Pac even said he'd take a lesser split anyways!

He is the one the fight fans want to see, either lose or win, but Mayweather is clearly the draw hear. Look at his followers on tweet, face book. lolololololololololololol. After Pac agrees with the $40M, what's next? He should drop Arum or Roach? How many more should Pac agree to?

You don't get the trend do you?

Hey OXN, where do you stand on this???

Pac was guaranteed 40 million against Floyd, but there was another report about 60-40 offer.

What's your take on all this???

Lots of things to weigh up here , its a perfect case of the bird in the hand or the bird in the bush , and 40 mill is the biggest bird Pac has had ,,,, what Floyd makes is irrelevant , because Pac can say ok I,ll pay you a flat 50 mill and see if that runs Floyd off ,,,,,, to walk out of the fight is still ducking it if you ask me , they can go back and forward like an auction , whoever walks is ducking it .
If you think 40m is a good offer for this fight, then maybe Pac should make that offer to Floyd and let Pac take the risk.

If Manny TAKES the 40 million, Floyd has already made it clear there is nothing left-

ALSO, MANNY DID NOT COUNTER OFFER-Pac verbally agreed on a 50/50 with Hatton, but when it came down to it, he demanded a 52/48 split.

This is no different...unfortunately, Pacquiao said he'd take a lesser share-whatever the case-PAC SAID IT.

40 Million is much more than he'll make fighting Bradley-Sources right now say he is gonna get 6-7 million for Bradley plus PPV percentage-he'll take home 15 million approx. for the Timothy Bradley fight-

He could take home 40 million for a Mayweather fight and make more than 5 times any guaranteed purse he has ever been offered-FACT.

AGAIN-AFTER ACCEPTING THE PURSE SPLIT-THERE IS NOTHING LEFT ON THE TABLE-

MANILA, Philippines — Unless Floyd Mayweather Jr. gets hit by lightning and suddenly realizes that Manny Pacquiao is indeed a reasonable man with reasonable demands, all roads will lead to Las Vegas on June 9, the date of the Filipino’s much-awaited ring return against Miguel Cotto or Tim Bradley.

“There’s been no movement on Mayweather’s side,” Hall of Fame promoter Bob Arum told the Manila Bulletin Thursday as a last-ditch effort by Pacquiao’s adviser Mike Koncz did not produce favorable results.

Koncz had to fly to the United States from Manila over the weekend in a bid to salvage the Mayweather megabuck match but Arum said Pacquiao’s Canadian right-hand man will be returning to the Philippines this weekend armed with another set of documents for Pacquiao to sign.

Arum did not say who Pacquiao is facing in June but logic dictates it is Cotto, the Puerton Rican ****er who is hell-bent in avenging his 2009 stoppage loss, although Bradley cannot be ruled out as well.

The problem with Cotto, a super welterweight title holder, is that he doesn’t want to fight Pacquiao at the welterweight limit of 147 lbs or a catch weight way below his current fighting weight of 152 lbs.

Since he hasn’t weighed lower than 152 lbs in his last three fights, Cotto claims that it would be an extreme sacrifice for him to give in to Pacquiao’s demands.

Still, when money talks, everyone listens and forcing Cotto to get down to 147 or 148 lbs won’t be difficult in the face of a huge dollar sign.

A flabbergasted Pacquiao said on Wednesday that Mayweather was so ridiculous that he was offered a flat rate of $40 million, leaving the pay-per-view share and other sources of revenue all for Mayweather to collect.

Now that Pacquiao’s next fight against somebody other than Mayweather is starting to take shape, Arum said he will try to work out a deal for the two fighters to agree on fighting sometime in November.

“As long as they win their next fights, Mayweather on May 5 and Manny on June 9, they can absolutely fight in November,” said Arum, confident that a temporary venue would have already been in place by that time.

Arum had made it public that he was against staging a Pacquiao-Mayweather fight in may or even June because of the limited time available to promote it and get things done.

“A fight this big deserves a bigger venue,” said the New York-bred 80-year-old Harvard-educated lawyer.

“We just can’t leave too much on the table,” added Arum, referring to the estimated $20 million that will be left out if a Pacquiao-Mayweather super fight ends up being held in a smaller arena.

Pacquiao and his soon-to-be named foe will formally announce their fight next month after Pacquiao graces a dinner Arum will host for Muhammad Ali in Las Vegas.
If Pac grows some balls and fights either Bradley,Berto,Ortiz,Gurerro, or Martinez there will never be a Mayweather fight for him, because he will lose, maybe even by stoppage. You can bet your punk ass that Peterson will be his next oponant. I like perterson but his style is taylor made for a Pac. Standing toe toe, no movement, come forward, high conventenial guard, no jab. This is the kind of opponant Pac looks good against

I think he's a mod over at the Pinoy Lounge. Kind of a big deal. In all seriousness, yeah. Aside from Reed and one or two other mods, it's a joke.
