The Mayweather vs. Pacquiao Bout Is Nearing Completion as Pacquiao Signs on the Dotted Line The news has spread like wildfire throughout the boxing and sports communities. Manny Pacquiao has signed his contract to take on Floyd Mayweather, with a proposed date of March 13. The Pacquiao vs. Mayweather fight would be the biggest fight […]

The proposed date for the big bout is March 13, 2010.
The official name of the promotion will be Mayweather vs. Pacquiao, signaling that Mayweather gets the top billing.
The fighters have agreed to a 50-50 split of money.
The bout will take place at the welterweight limit of 147 lbs.
The fighters will wear 8 ounce gloves, and can pick a brand of their choice.
The location of fight has not yet been revealed, but the three viable options are Las Vegas, New Orleans and Dallas.

All sorted out in the first week of the first negotiation.

Notice no mention of blood tests and notice Floyd agreed on 50/50 split

This demand for a bigger cut is exactly the same as the blood test, a smokescreen to not make this fight happen.

    And stop telling lies.

LOL!! I was talking about Floyd demanding it the day before the fight, the reason why Pacteam refused. Damn!

Do you or anyone have any idea who would have taken the lead as far as promotions go?
To me, it's clear that Floyd's offer means Mayweather/GBP Promotions would have been the lead promoter for the fight, incurring much of the cost and thus, reaping much of the benefit. And it's clear that the exact opposite situation would have been the case with Arum's offer. I suspect Arum's offer included a different date though. It has to. Because he sure as heck didn't book May 5th and it doesn't sound like he's trying to play second fiddle.

Since Pac is so pure and clean, why did he make a big deal about the test. Why does he chase opponants that have no chance of beating him, or better yet why want he face opponants that comes to win and that are in extremely good fighting condition at a healthy weight coming off impressive wins. Why want he face someone young , hungry and strong? Fans like you , help Bob Arum get righer by producing garbage overhype bums, in over hype missmatch fights. Keep making excuses for your boy Pacpunk. The die hard fans know whats up. When pac gets koed again for the third time, he'll vanish along with all of his casual fans like you!

                    2. There was no OST until after Floyd Sr. mentioned it. The fight was about
to be signed when this came up. The bold is a lie and i can't believe people still trying to run with that. Come on man!!!

                    3. Senior, Junior, Roger are all over the media/news accusing and soiling not only Pac's name but his county as a whole. So how does a logical man stop this? Yup common sense says + lawsuit. Did he shut up......well he was minimized.

                    4. Pac has not asked for more money, he has demanded the lions share for every fight in the last 6 fights of his career, and rightfully so. Hes the money man.
