            id say roach, always calm, always giving good advice, can get you through the fight with his skill.

            i dont think great fighters like rjj= great trainers. he got by on so much natural speed and athleticism that anybody who didnt have as much might not benefit from his style.

                    Wilfred Benitez, the most naturaly skilled boxer in history. He barly trained or anything, and still was one of the best defensive fighters ever. Thats why they call him "the bible of boxing".

                      you guys need to also consider whether the fighter you choose would be a good trainer...just because he is good or had a good run doesn't necessarily mean they would be a good trainer...

                      I think someone like Mayweather Jr, Hopkins, Toney, Hagler, or Leonard would make good trainers...not sure if Tyson or Morales would make an effective trainer
