The reason why these purses are low is for Pac to work around and pay less taxes in the US and the Philippines. They would disclose a smaller amount to the public, Arum then personally wires him the rest of the guaranteed purse. Pac has been getting $20M+ purses for a while now.

Mayweather just needs to offer 50-50, otherwise, how does he make what he is asking for without Pac?? If Mayweather does not change his stance and holds his demand of more than 50-50, then he will end up making 50% of nothing.

Isn't this a favor to Pacquiao though? He can see how he should earn more of the purse upfront. If he earns $40M just from the fight that could possibly mean he will earn more than he has before and also make Arum earn less as well. The whole point of this to me is to show how Arum is ripping off Pacquiao.

If Bob is ripping Manny off thats between Bob and Manny, why is Floyd getting involved why does it concern him.

Well, doesn't this matter to Floyd because he used to be with Top Rank? He clearly has some animosity towards Bob Arum, so why just blindly give Arum a ton of money when he might have a shot of giving Pac more money and at the same time give Arum less?
