Rios would be too big and tough for gamboa. But it will definitely be fun.

I gotta lean towards Gamboa in this one. The strength and size advantages for Rios will be neutralized by cutting down to 135 again. After losing this fight, Rios moves up to 140 and will look much better

I see this fight going 3 ways

1.Gamboa increases his speed and power moving up, and sparks Rios in 4 rounds or less.

2.Gamboa puts a "Pacquiao-Margarito" type beating on Rios

3.Rios starts losing, Gamboa starts to get tire mid fight because of the weighta and gets stop in the 11th or 12th(Kinda like Cotto-Margarito 1)

            Hell yeah. Lets do it.

Reminds me of Mosley when jumped up to fight Oscar.

            I hope it happens.

it would be Mayweather vs Baldomir or Pacquiao vs Margarito

Rios is TOO DAMN SLOW, I like Rios he is a Warrior and the dude never stops coming...BUT I could see Gamboa darting in and out and boxing circles around Rios for 12 Rounds

Him being "BIGGER" won't mean ANYTHING! LOL Boxing fans still pick fights based on "SIZE" lol

Rios said he would stay for a Gamboa fight.

Rios fought pretty good against a guy he was losing in Acosta. Rios looked like he was gonna get outboxed, but then he changed that instantly. The same thing can happen in this fight. Rios is huge for LW already, and Gamboa is coming up to face him there? Dangerous fight for Gamboa, but I guess he wants to make a bigger name for himself before his time runs out. Beating Rios is a first step, a big step at that. I would be rooting for Gamboa if this fight happens.

You don't think size matters? Then you see Gamboa becoming heavyweight champ, or even middleweight champ, someday?

Wow can't believe how many people pick gamboa. Look gamboa is definitely levels above rios in terms of skill and ability. If they were the same size gamboa would beat rios no doubt, but they're not the size difference would be too much and Rios has a style that puts ridiculous amount of pressure. He can take a lot of punishment and has stamina for days.

Gamboa is already pretty average in size at 126. can u imagine how small he would look fighting at 135.

You have a lot of faith in Gamboa, bro...more than me. I love Yuri, but I'm not so confident with this match-up.
