As the King Cotto Hater of Boxingscene, I will say this, yes Cotto wanted Margarito at 150, but it didn't happen there, it happened at 153. Cotto could have easily killed the fight like Pacquiao does when things don't go his way.

Pac shouldn't even fight Cotto. Enough with cherry picking past prime recycled fighters. I'm glad that Pac said no to anything higher than 147. And, I'm glad that Cotto said no to anything lower whatever weight he wanted(if this article is true, which fight news is pretty reliable). This fight should not be happening.

Plus if Pac fought Cotto at 150 or above. After he would have whipped the floor with him(once again), Martinez would have had to be a serious option. Because, there would have been no excuse to not fight Martinez at 150+ if he fought Cotto.

:shrug: There is a difference between asking a guy to fight at 150 (the weight his last fight was at) and asking a guy to completely drop a division. Not to mention, Cotto and along with 90% of the boxing community felt Margarito used bricks. Life sucks as a cheat, people tend to take advantage of the dumb situation you put yourselves in.
