I think it's pretty clear to most Boxing fans that Cotto isn't in his prime anymore. With that being said, I also believe people put too much stock into Cotto being completely shot. I believe like other fighters before and after him, Boxing fans become really subjective to someone who shows vulnerability, but at the same time make excuses for when they win. Simply put, anything Cotto does (or anyone criticized in the same manner) will somehow always be doubted.

how the hell is cotto shot? Past prime, at the tail end of his career, sure, yes, but shot? no way. Shot is Antwun Echols or Roy Jones.
