WBC Middleweight Title
NBA Super Middleweight Title

Obviously, he wasnt champ in 6 weight classes, but this was in a time where there were fewer weight classes and fewer belts. Duran also face unreal competition, he may have the best resume of any fighter ever.
He ranks far above DLH for p4p rankings, but Sugar Ray Robinson was an even better fighter than duran.
It is difficult to argue that sugar ray is not the best p4p fighter of all time, holding the World Welterweight Title as well as the World Middleweight Title.
Theres no doubt in my mind that had there been more weight classes, he would have held the World titles in those divisions as well.

So he won the Lightweight, Welterweight, Light Middleweight and Middleweight titles, that makes him a 4 division champ, De La Hoya was 6 division champ with the major belts, and when I say major belts i mean WBO,WBA,IBF,WBC these 4, nothing else

Fantasy matchup.....If Lacy could come down to middle and fight Robinson who wins. Lacy would knock him into the second row man. Yesterdays fights can't match up to today's athletes, people evolve, we are far superior today.......therefore, todays boxers are better P4P.

I dont see why De La Hoya cant be considered as one of the best ever, i'm ****ing sick of the way people suck the old fighters ****s.

De La Hoya as done everything in the sport, i dislike him but he was good, in his prime he'd have given anyone hell.

With that type of thinking you must think that the Dolphins from 1972 would have a ****load of difficulties dealing with a typical averagee NFL team from today. Afterall, with the size advantage of the modern football teams, it's not inconcievable to think that the '72 Dolphins and their "No-Name Defense" are going to have a very difficult time penetrating the O-line of a modern team (as well as encountering the same difficulties on offense)...

But are you seriously going to sit there and tell me that you think a team that goes 8-8 today is "greater" than a team that goes 17-0 from thirty plus years ago just because you think the modern athletes have the advantage?

no i agree that we have alot of kids trying to act like they seen every fight of every boxer ever on this forum....and that some people cant think for themselves all you see in boxing mags is Ali was the best hv robinson was the best p4p..i am not one of them .. when i was young i thought roy jones was the best p4p...untill i started to watch old fights and now i can see why robinson is called the best
