Reason why they follow Pac is because of Floyd. They wan't that fight so bad that they keep tabs on Pac's fight. Which at this point, knowing that Pac lost his last fight he better give Floyd the bigger split, Nd if the fight wit Cotto DOES happen a fair 50/50 wouldnt be asking for much.

And like I said before, Pac's big numbers are because of the help of mexicans. Don't go snooping, make logical sense in your head.

Bradely? Peterson? No way. And JMM wants at least $20 million to do a 4th fight.

Do me a favor, pretend your'e Cotto's manager, and Manny and Floyd are coming at you hard. What do you do? Obviously, you play both sides against each other and end up getting close to an equal share.

If not, Cotto defends his title against a low level contender and makes $4 million.
Well if it's going to be 50/50 split he doesn't need to do the numbers that Cotto would bring. All he would need is Clottey like numbers with an 80/20 split. Hell Clottey was 90/10 split with the likes of Bradley or Peterson. And, get the same amount of money.

Floyd can do the same as Pac.

Cotto would have to fight like a JCC Jr, Canelo, or a Martinez to get those 4mil. He would get half of that fighting anyone else.

Cotto would make more than 6mil taking a 70-30 split from either Floyd or Pac.

Cotto is in the driver seat where he can ask to fight a specific weight, glove size, ring size, even more money. But, he is not in the position of power to demand a 50/50 split man.

Oh is the reason that they follow Pac is because of Floyd. Ahh, OK....

Yes Pac vs a none Mexican in Clottey>>>PPV buys than Cotto against a Mexican..Oh wait...that's because of Floyd

Yep 50/50 split for Cotto with either Floyd or Pac isn't asking too much.

So wait.....they are saying "Pick Manny because Floyd's style will be too tough". That boils down to "Pick Manny, because you have a better shot at beating him than Floyd".

Yeah, at 147-150 lbs, Miguel Cotto has a real shot.

Why ain't he. Cotto's in the position to demand anything he wants. If Manny says no, then he's got to find someone else to fight. This may be Cotto's last big fight, so he better make a lot.

Because, he is not as big of a draw as those 2 to demand 50/50. He just not, I mean he can try. But, he is not going to get it.

Both fighters can fight other fighters and get a huge split on their favor and they would get the same amount money if not more so than doing a 50/50 split with Cotto.

And, Cotto would probably make more money getting a lesser split with those two than he would in getting the bigger split against lower tier fighters.

If I were Cotto I would take the Floyd fight.

This has got to be one of the most ridiculous arguments I've seen here on boxingscene.
