Comments Thread For: Roach: Floyd Mayweather is Scared, No November Fight

PHILADELPHIA — Freddie Roach wasn’t the least bit surprised when he learned Floyd Mayweather Jr. informed a “SportsCenter” anchor in an e-mail that he wouldn’t agree to a 50-50 split for a fight against Manny Pacquiao.

The fight should happen at 50-50 even though Pacquiao had said that he would take less. To say that Mayweather is scared is a bit dumb. He's the one who's been making all the noise about doing this fight. Now he says one "wrong" thing and he's labelled scared.

Why would Mayweather fight Pacquiao in November when he's only coming out end of August.

Everyone knows Mayweather is nots scared of Pacquiao, it is more the idea of an opponent that could potentially take his 0 away. If he takes the fight today he'd be the favourite, that's well known.

Floyd has retired a few times.

Floyd has said jmm better than PAC yet demanded ost bs PAC only.

He won't accept 50/50 when PAC has sold more total ppv than him.

        He demands the date.

Pac already agreed to a lesser share, may 5th and random blood testing. We are all just waiting on bob arum to allow his son to fight.

STFU Freddie, whats the problem with May 5th? Pacquiao said he would take the less money to make the fight.

Nobody should be falling for Team PAcs BS.

could you imagine if Ali did not challenge himself and fight frazier,

foreman, norton, patterson and liston among other fantastic fights?

people need to look at floyd at how not only has he suffered to be the best

for himself but look at all he could have given us fans as far as great fights..

floyd is pricing himself out, plain and simple...this isnt zab judah, its PAC,

pac is a huge money maker of consistent ppv's. he has a world fan base, not

              an american ****** fan base

This is just one of Roach's smoke screen to get the public on Pac's side. Pac looked like shyte in the Marquez fight. Mayweather will beat the hell out of him.

With that said, Mayweather need to get off his high horse and accept the 50/50 deal. He said that Pac will make the most money fighting him, but he's lost in the fact that he will make the most money fight Pac also. He won't make nearly as much money fighting Alvarez, Guerrero or Cotto.

Floyds just playing hard ball. Mannys the six million dollar man not Floyd. You see how Floyd said I wont give you 50/50 but youll make more money than youve ever made. Its just business. Somebodies got to break Arum off. Hes Manny promoter it should come out of Mannys end.
