That may be true but okay let's change it up and bring the new more walk you down get in your a$$ Floyd do you think it would still play out that way considering Floyd stays in the pocket more then he used to

That Floyd[aside the recent Mosley fight] usually fight that way against. Floyd doesn't throw enough punches to make Clottey constantly backing up and Clottey doesn't move much laterally in the first place, so he'd be right there in front of Floyd to be hit in the torso consistently until he open up his guard. If you notice, Floyd has always backed down his opponents in later rounds even if he didn't started out that way in the first half of the fight.

True. Clottey was made out of iron.

I suppose that technically would be retiring Floyd
let's be real, Clottey would swarm Floyd and batter him.
I would be surprised if Floyd leaves the ring in tact.

            Clottey retires.. him no doubt...

Only fight where you'll see floyd throwing punches with confidence lol. Clottey deserves no place in boxing.

Most boring fight in history...if you thought Clottey vs Pac was boring...just imagine that turtle defense vs a counter puncher!! I'm glad they never have and never will make this horrible fight. Clottey gets UD'd 10 out of 10 times.

I disagree with everyone saying it would be boring. I think it would be exciting. I think Floyd dominates him though. No matter how many fights go by, people still keep thinking of the passive version of Floyd. He wouldnt fight Clottey like that. He wouldnt fight hardly anybody like that anymore but e****ally not Clottey. His style is made for Floyd.

Floyd would come straight at him just like Mosley & pick him apart with his speed, precision, & smarts. That guard isnt going to work on Floyd because he places his shots so well. Floyd would love to fight a guy who covered up that much. Then I still dont see any righty hitting a prime Floyd clean that much so when Clottey did fire back he would be hitting all gloves, shoulders, forearms, or nothing.

I think it would be a toe to toe fight. Clottey's not going to run and Floyd has no fear of Clottey's style or power. I think it will be in the center of the ring and be way more exciting than everyone thinks but Floyd is too good for him and I could actually see this version of Floyd stopping Clottey late if Clottey
