I think Guzman is ****y and trades with a fighter he thinks is hittable. Maidana stops him late.
funeka is also like 6 feet tall and fights totally different than maidana so that means nothing. Guzman won the rematch pretty easily though

I don't doubt it. Maidana is incredibly overrated.

Either one of the M & M boys from Argentina, Maidana and Matthysse, would be stylistically easy fights for Guzman.

Sometimes he doesn't look like he handles pressure all that great.

Especially the fights he hasn't trained hard.

I remember watching his come back fight and a bum was backing him up.

He won but it wasn't like when he fought Soto.

I don't discount either slugger really.

The right Guzman has to show up every time.

And the power where he is now, don't know if it's gonna ward off these guys who are crude sluggers but can punch a bit.

Guzman should try and make this fight, anyone agree disagree?
MAidana already fought Morales. Now Guzmán? You can take your grandpa to the gym, he might have a chance as well!

if he fought to his potential he'd probably have an easy time winning a decision

he's not the world's most potent offensive fighter at 140

and he certainly doesnt always fight up to his potential.

i'd pick him to win (as i do in many fantasy fights,) but only at his best

the guy has had a rough go with lesser fighters than maidana.
he's never fought a guy with that much strength and punching power
                  and he's obviously a former 122 lber

Easy win for Joan Guzman, in my opinion.
