Is Miguel Cotto Top 3 P4P Most Hated Boxer?

i dont think cotto is much hated outside of the hardcore fans. whether you think he quit during the margarito fight or whatever, that was still a burner and tell me 1 cotto fight that was boring?

he's a good fighter and a nice guy outside the ring. and i don't think the cotto fanboys are too over the top. it's nowhere near the extreme of the may/pac fans.

one of the things i've always liked about cotto ever since the ricardo torres fight, you're pretty much gonna see him face adversity when he's in with a tough guy. so what if he struggles here and there with some fighters? if every fight is a cake-walk for the guy expected to win, what's the point of watching fights?

all in all, if i watch cotto fight..i know i'm gonna be entertained whether he wins or loses and that's why i watch boxing.

I think everyone decided he was done after the Pacquiao loss, and just look at him as milking what he has left into as many paydays as possible. Still a really good fighter, but not the monster he was. I'd be fine with him fighting Floyd or Pacman as opposed to Bradley/Peterson/Khan though

around here i would probably put chavez jr in the top 3 most-hated. outside of the blatantly hilarious mushadeen troll...who really likes him? i get offended when articles call him WBC "king".

if anyone should get some hard hate though, probably devon alexander and paul williams. for me, neither of them have won a fight in a couple years and they still get opportunities when theres other fighters who deserve their night on the big stages.

matthyse, i'd like to see that guy a whole lot more. put him in with maidana or rios, even humberto soto and you're gonna see a classic. and whatever happened to him and morales? that's still a great fight that can be made.

also, i think an epic undercard fight would be sakio bika vs librado andrade. i dont give a F what station it's on, that's war.
