During a recent interview, former four-time heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield discussed the welterweight mega-fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao. For years, the boxing public has been waiting for the fight to happen. At the moment, both boxers appear to be on separate paths in the first half of the year. Mayweather will return on May 5th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Pacquiao will return on June 9th in Las Vegas. Neither fighter has a finalized opponent. Holyfield gave his thoughts on the fight.

I didn't read the article, but I've talked with Evander about the fight in person a few times.

According to Holyfield ¿No one has ever put pressure on Floyd? Someone should tell Holyfield to watch Floyd's 2 fights against Castillo & the Hatton fight..Both fighters did put pressure on Floyd, but to no avail & even thou the 1st Castillo fight was close cause Mayweather hurt his hand & in the later rounds stood in the pocket trading with Castillo & that's when Castillo looked better but in the immediate rematch Mayweather totally out boxed Castillo & got a clear cut UD..

Great insight and analysis, Holly: Manny brings pressure and Floyd knows how to avoid pressure. I never looked at it that way.
